Giudizio Universale

Michelangelo's masterpiece becomes an Immersive show.

Giudizio Universale. Michelangelo and the Secrets of the Sistine Chapel”, the long-running show produced by Artainment Worldwide Shows part of BWS – premiered in 2018 at the Auditorium Conciliazione in Rome and it has been a terrific success: 200.000 tickets were sold in 10 months.

The show, directed by Lulu Helbæk, brings together some of the greatest international talents in the world of music, theatre and video production to offer the public a unique sensorial journey, an emotional experience that has as its central focus one of the most important and admired places of the world: the Sistine Chapel.

One of the most incredible places in the world art history is at the centre of a show born from the coming together of many different artistic forms: the physical action of the theatrical performance meets the intangible magic of special effects, and the advanced technology is at the service of a story made of words and images never seen before. The 270° immersive projections take the viewer to the very centre of the event.

Created with the scientific advice of the Vatican Museums, “Giudizio Universalefeatures the most advanced technology of live entertainment – and a theme song by Sting.
Internationally acclaimed actor Pierfrancesco Favino (Angels & Demons”, Night at the Museum) performs the voice of Michelangelo Buonarroti, and Susan Sarandon is the voice of the Bible.
